Create Event

https://api.swoogo.com/api/v1/events/create

Creates a new event in your account. Returns the full event record on success.

Required fields: name, start_date, start_time, end_date, end_time, and timezone (e.g., US/Eastern, Europe/London, Asia/Tokyo — see the Formatting conventions page for the accepted identifiers). Optionally set close_date and close_time to control when registration closes, folder_id to organize the event, and display_url to set the registration page URL slug.

The event is created in draft status by default. Configure registration types, packages, and sessions after creation.

201Create Object

401Authentication failed. The bearer token is missing, expired, or invalid. Obtain a new token via POST /oauth2/token.

403The authenticated user does not have permission to access this resource. This can occur if the resource belongs to a different account or the API credentials lack the required scope.

404The specified resource does not exist or has been deleted. Verify the ID is correct and that the resource belongs to an event your credentials have access to.

500An unexpected server error occurred. If this persists, contact Swoogo support with the request details and timestamp.
